"Bro" Albert, 82, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Friday, July 9, 2010. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Thibodaux. Mass will be 11 a.m. at the church, with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux. He is survived by one son, Terry J. Albert and wife, Karen; two brothers, Charles Albert and C.J. Albert Jr.; one sister, Barbara Madere; three grandchildren, Curt Albert and wife, Cheryl, Todd Albert and wife, Faith, and Brad Albert and wife, Becky; nine great-grandchildren, Kayla, Spencer, Brady, Brad Jr., Samantha, Hunter, Taylor, Maggie, and Zachery; and friend Burnita Fontenot. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Sposito Albert; his parents, Annie Keller Albert and Clarence J. Albert; and one brother, Presley Albert. He was a loving and caring father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a long time member of Protector No. 2 Fire Company. He was an avid fisherman and gardener and loved being around his family. He was a World War II Navy veteran. He will be greatly missed and loved by all. Landry's Funeral Home of Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements. ===================
