Bourgeois Sr., 84, was born Nov. 11, 1925, in Raceland, passed away peacefully Friday, July 2, 2010. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time today at Scared Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off. A Memorial Mass will be held 11 a.m. today at the church. Family graveside services will be held July 20. He is survived by seven children, Winifred Parzynski and husband, Gregory, Stephanie Wagner and husband, Paul, Webster J. Bourgeois Jr. and wife, Danette Adams Bourgeois, Carl Bourgeois and wife, Dawn, Patricia Neal and husband, Dennis, Dwayne Bourgeois and wife, Avis Brunet Bourgeois, and Lesley Terrebonne and husband, Michael Jr.; loving grandfather, "Poppa," to 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Miller Bourgeois; and one sister, Dorothy "Dot" Bourgeois Guillot. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mabel Dantin Bourgeois and Sidney Joseph Bourgeois; his wife, Rose Mary Degruise Bourgeois, who died in 1949, and Thelma Guidry Bourgeois who died in 2002; and his grandson, Zachary James Camardelle. Webster was a hard-working business owner of Bourgeois Electric in Cut Off for more than 40 years. His career included a lengthy employment with Louisiana Power and Light Company and Valentine Paper and Pulp. He retired in Los Angeles for the last 41/2 years. He was an avid sportsmen and some of his greatest joys were singing, dancing, gardening, hunting, and bass fishing with his sons, sons-in-law and grandsons. He was a dedicated father and loving husband. He loved people and was loved by many. His greatest assets were his optimistic outlook, loving spirit, and positive attitude. He will sadly missed by all. ===================
