Carol L. Boyd, 53, of Franklin, Ohio, died Sunday, July 18, 2010, in an accident.

She was born in Houma on Aug. 29, 1956, to her parents, Ralph and Martha Cordre 
Guidry. She was an administrator for the Gem City Health Care in Middletown, 
Ohio.

She was a loving, caring and devoted wife and mother who leaves her husband, 
Steven Boyd; one daughter, Christy Landry and husband, Mike Palisin; one sister, 
Cathy Taormina; two brothers, Jamie and wife, Lisa Guidry, and David Jefferson; 
one stepdaughter, Tiffany Jo Boyd; one stepsister, Gabrielle Jefferson; her 
mother, Martha Jefferson; four grandchildren, Maggie and Alex Landry, and Lainey 
and Kaitlyn Boyd; one great-grandchild; two nieces, Lindsay Taormina and Casey 
Guidry ; and one nephew, Mathew Taormina.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Guidry; her stepfather, Richard 
Jefferson; her grandparents, Jim and Polly Chandler, and Sam and Olga Guidry.

A memorial gathering will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday with a service at 
7:30 p.m., all at the Princeton Pike Church of God, 6101 Princeton Glendale 
Road, Hamilton, Ohio, 45011 with the Rev. Barry Clardy officiating.

Memorial contributions may me made to the Princeton Pike Church of God 
Children's Program, 6101 Princeton Glendale Road, Hamilton, Ohio, 45011.

Wilson Schramm Spaulding Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
