Herbert Joseph Breaux Sr., 71, a native and resident of Bayou Gauche, died at 
11:51 p.m. Friday, July 2, 2010.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Life Fellowship 
Community Church in Bayou Gauche. Service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the church, 
with burial at Sunset Cemetery in Bayou Gauche.

He is survived by his companion, Grace Orgeron Murray; two sons, Herbert Breaux 
Jr. and Ken Breaux; one daughter, Geordina Breaux O'Banion; two brothers, John 
R. Breaux and Marty J. Breaux; two sisters, Malinda B. Rodrigue and Marion M. 
Breaux; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Irby Breaux and Alvina Comardelle 
Breaux; and two sisters, Norma Breaux and Arlene Breaux.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
