Maria Broussard, 67, of Snellville, Ga., originally from Chihuahua, Mexico, 
passed away Friday, July 9, 2010 after a lengthily battle with cancer.

Memorial Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Epic Faith, 2650 Olde Towne 
Parkway, Duluth, Ga. 30097 (770-623-8109) with Pastor Jack Wolfe officiating.

A member of Epic Faith, Ms. Broussard also resided in Houma before settling in 
north Georgia. She was a remarkable woman, a woman with strength, passion and 
belief that whatever the inevitable may be there was always a light at the end 
of the tunnel. Her faith in God, love for life, family and friends was more than 
words could say.

She is survived by her children, Sharon Broussard of Snellville, Ga., Donna 
Bergeron and husband, Jason, and Lorraine Broussard and partner, Andrea Lapinski 
of Snellville; one brother, Alvaro Miranda; one sister, Carmen Miranda, both of 
La.; one sister, Alica Miranda of Mexico; four grandchildren, Mathew, Tyler, 
Bella and Avi; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Her family would like to give a special thanks to all her friends and medical 
staff that assisted her during the time she battled her cancer. She will be 
sadly missed by all.
