Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Residence Baptist Church, with burial in Union Benevolent Cemetery. He is survived by his mother, Cheryl T. Butler of Houma; his father, David M. Butler Sr. of Houma; his fiancee, Erica Domangue of Houma; one daughter, Bria Louise Butler of Houma; two brothers, David Butler Jr. and Brandon Butler of Houma; his grandmother, Chalmette K. Thomas and Hazel S. Butler, both of Houma; nine aunts, Antionette Mitchell of Altadina, Calif., Terri D. Thomas of Houma, Kim T. Ricks and husband, Edward, of Houma, Lisa A. Fusilier and husband, Standford, of Houma, Barbara Jasper and husband, Kenneth, of Houma, Donna M. Lancelin of Houston, Sheryl Butler of Houma, Linda Butler and husband, Dr. James Butler of Houma, and Brenda Johnson and husband, Charley of Houma; and five great aunts, Annabelle Hammock of Altadina, Calif., Lean Mae Houser of Texas, Orita Baker of Houma, Odessa Brumfield and husband, Charles, of Houma, and Mildred Johnson and husband, Lloyd of Houma. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Anthony Thomas Jr. and James Butler. He was a member of Residence Baptist Church and a member of Knights of Columbus. His hobbies were basketball and fishing. He was employed by North American Ship Yard. Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ===================
