Dorothy Davis, 74, a native and resident of Thibodaux died Thursday July 1, 
2010. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Moses Baptist Church in 
Thibodaux. The Religious Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Church, 
with burial in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Thibodaux.

She is survived by one brother, Lawrence Flakes of Houma; and four sisters; 
Louella Rhodes of Michigan, Martha Flakes of Thibodaux, Mercedes Winston of 
Gretna and Mary Williams of Slidell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Davis; her parents, Jules and 
Elizabeth Flakes; three brothers, Raymond, Jules and Eddie Flakes; one sister, 
Eula Pearl Reado; and her grandparents, Martha Brown and Lawrence Brown.

She was a member of Moses Baptist Church.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
