Dishman, 64, a native of and resident of Houma, departed from this life at 3:20 p.m. Friday, July 23, 2010. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 1: 30 p.m. Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home, with a prayer service beginning at 11 a.m. Monday, by the Rev. James Chapman of Christ Baptist Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Eloi Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Dorothy Champagne Dishman of Houma; three biological daughters, Melanie Dishman Potter, Valerie Dishman Hopkins and Christina Dishman; four other daughters, Christy Price Domingue, Dawn Eastin Terracina, Kathy Eastin Mooring and Teresa Eastin Huffaker; one son, John Price II; three brothers, James M. Dishman and wife, Catherine, Robert "Bob" A. Dishman, and Gerald "Jerry" P. Dishman and wife, Wanda; four sisters, Margaret D. Lapeyrouse and husband, Lanny, Mary D. Giles and husband, Fred, and Susan J. Dishman and Elaine M. Dishman; and several grandchildren and great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Sullinger Dishman Sr. and Annie Laura Fabregas Dishman; two brothers, Leon Philip Dishman and John "Sonny" Dishman Jr.; two sisters, Elsie D. Falgout and Annie Laura D. Boudreaux; and his grandparents, Martin Leo and Annie Laura Chauvin Fabregas, and James and Elsie Lowe Dishman. He was president and general manager of Dishman and Bennett Specialty Co., Inc. He was an organ donor. He is a 1965 graduate of South Terrebonne High School. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who's lives he touched. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ===================
