Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at First Emmanuel International Baptist Church, 9239 La. 405 in Modeste. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church conducted by the Rev. Ronald Haynes, with burial at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church Cemetery in White Castle. She is survived by five daughters, Patricia Cox of Gonzales, Betty Foster, Dorothy and husband, Brian Williams, all of White Castle, Laurel and husband, Richard Boone of Morgan City, and Rose Foster and husband, Curtis Glover of Addis; five sons, Edward and wife, Wanda Foster, Brian and wife, Amaryllis Foster, all of Donaldsonville, Emerson Sr. and wife, Kim Foster of Gonzales, David and wife, Dimey Foster of New Orleans, and Jamie and wife, Krystal Foster of Port Sulphur; three sisters, Barbara and husband, Raymond Smith of Gibson, Louise and husband, Andy Foster, and Mildred Jackson, all of White Castle; three brothers, Rogers White of Modeste, Warren White of Donaldsonville, and Claiborne Jr. and wife, Cethel White of White Castle; 30 grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; three godchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Joseph "29" Foster Jr.; her parents, Celina and Claiborne White Sr.; one son, Amos Foster Jr.; one brother, Melvin White Sr.; one son-in-law, James Cox; and one sister-in-law, Helen White.
