Donnie Mark Freeman, 49, a native of Montegut and resident of Vancouver, Wash., 
died at 11:20 p.m. Monday, July 12, 2010.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9:30 
a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass will be 
held 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Kari Enge Freeman; his parents, Earl Freeman and 
Mazie Pitre Freeman; two stepchildren, Shain Bolland and Tyler Bolland; two 
brothers, Laddie Freeman and wife, Karol, and Todd Freeman; four sisters, Larke 
Cenac and husband, Kenneth, Wendy Black and husband, Charles, Christy Talbot and 
husband, Toby, and Lori Aspinall; two godchildren, Brandi Robichaux and Billy 
Black; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and his 
special aunt, Delores and husband, Dale Waguespack.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Abbie and Annis Freeman, and Allen 
"Gator" and Iola Pitre; and one nephew, Josiah Freeman.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Scleroderma Foundation would be 
appreciated.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
