Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday with a Wake service at 8 p.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Gray. A dismissal service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Greta H. Galmore; five sons, Loyal D. Galmore III, Laundale Galmore, Laron Galmore, Da'Jour Chaney and Jeremiah Ray; two daughters, Precious Hillery and Golden Chaney; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Loyal D. Galmore Sr. and Gladys Cotton Galmore; and one sisters, Vera Mae Galmore Garner. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He was a Army Vietnam veteran and a Mason and employed by Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government and Nicholls University. Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ===================
