Monty Dale Garner, 59, a native of Opelousas and resident of Houma, died at 6:25 
a.m. Friday, July 9, 2010.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to service time today at Falgout Funeral Home 
Chapel. Service will be 7 p.m. today at the chapel.

He is survived by one daughter, Marchella Foret of Raceland; two brothers, Allen 
of Houma and Jeffery Garner of Mississippi; one sister, Carol Scott; and four 
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace F. and Ruth Durham Garner; two 
brothers, Roger and Charles Garner; and one sister, Linda Arceneaux.

He was an Army Vietnam veteran.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
