Nolan J. Gaudet Jr., 50, a native of St. Charles Community and resident of 
Larose, died on Monday, July 19, 2010.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to funeral time 
Saturday at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off. Funeral service will be held 
at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with burial at St. Joseph Catholic 
Cemetery in Thibodaux.

He is survived by his companion, Melinda Cortez Rodriguez; his father, Nolan J. 
Gaudet Sr.; one son, Jesse Paul Gaudet; two step-daughters, Kimberly Hartman and 
husband, Lee, and Lacy Moyer and husband, Mikey; one brother, Ruben Gaudet; one 
foster sister, Patsy and husband, Lloyd; and two step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ellen Canefield Gaudet.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the family to help with funeral 
expenses.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Homes of Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
