GROS, PEARL 

Pearl Peltier Thibodeaux Gros, 95, a native of Chackbay and resident of 
Thibodaux, died Monday, July 5, 2010.

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time today at St. John Catholic 
Church in Thibodaux. Mass will be 10:30 a.m. today at the church, with burial at 
St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.

She is survived by two daughters, Virgie Lee Thibodeaux Adams and Ruby 
Thibodeaux Terracina; one stepchild, Lois Gros Jacobi; seven siblings, Nettie 
Peltier Tucker, Florence Rita Peltier, Edward Peltier, Madeleine Peltier, Anna 
Mae Peltier Nixon, Joseph C. "JC" Peltier and Enola Peltier DeGruy; 10 
grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; 25 step-
great-grandchildren; and one step-great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Edwin Thibodeaux; second 
husband, Avie Gros; three stepchildren, Leroy Gros, Neil Gros and Elmo Gros; and 
seven siblings, Ethel Peltier Adams, Howard Peltier, Valley Peltier, Emmett 
Louis Peltier, Ernest Peltier, Lillian Peltier Perque and Darrell Peltier.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
