Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Magnolia United Methodist Church on Johnson Ridge. Religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in the Blue Lilly Cemetery on Johnson Ridge. He is survived by seven daughters, Audrey Mae West of Milwaukee, Calamity Willis and husband, Aurthur, Joyce Hollis and husband, Wayne, Cindy James, Alberta Joseph and Valerie Anderson, all of Thibodaux, and Vera Thompson and husband, William, of Labadieville; one stepdaughter, Deidra Triggs; 10 sons, Andrew Neville, Elroy James, Randy James, Tracy James, Kennith James, Keith James, Dalton James, Donald James and wife, Amy, and Derreck Joseph all of Thibodaux, and Frank James of Lockport; one stepson, Murphy Triggs; 77 grandchildren; 125 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Triggs James; his former wife, Rosemane James; his parents, Hestelle Dorsey and Tommy James; two sons, Jessie and Jerome James; three daughters, Pamela James, Vanessa James and Barbara James; three brothers, Jessie James, Clarence James Sr. and Frank James Sr.; and two sisters, Ellen and Ola James. He was a member of Magnolia United Methodist Church. Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements. ===================
