Jeanette S. Johnson, 87, a native of Ascension Parish and a resident of 
Terrebonne Parish, died Monday, July 12, 2010.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Community Funeral Home. Funeral 
services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Living Gospel Fellowship Church, 
with burial at St. Luke Baptist Church in Waterproof.

She is survived by four sons, Johnny Johnson, Lynwood Johnson, Troy Johnson and 
Warren Johnson; and four daughters, Ida Johnson Hawkins, Alice J. Johnson, Ethel 
J. Ray and Ethel J. Banks.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Johnson Sr.; her parents, John 
Scott and Cecelia Nichollas Scott; two sons, Raymond Johnson and Jesse Johnson 
Jr.; seven brothers, Isreal, Earon, John, Maine, Lenwood, Aurestile and Rev. 
Samuel Scott; and five sisters, Laura Scott, Oreia Scott, Cecila Scott Brown, 
Marta Scott Williams and Elmonia Scott Knight.

She was a member of The House of the Lord.

Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
