KIFFE, HORACE

Horace "Hawk" Kiffe, 72, a native of Galliano and resident of Larose, died at 
7:32 a.m. Thursday, July 1, 2010.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Our Lady of the 
Rosary Church in Larose. Mass will be at noon Saturday at the church, with 
burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Claudette Richardelle Kiffe; one son, 
Patrick Kiffe; two daughters, Angela Billiot and husband, Louis, and Sondra 
Trosclair and husband, Jamie; seven brothers, Leroy, Steven, Curlen, Edman and 
Rickey Kiffe, Ray and D.J. Cheramie and Hubert Kiffe; two sisters, Ingrid Bruce 
and Laura Mae Barrios; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lodriguess Kiffe and Celeste "Domie" 
Gisclair Kiffe and Victoria Toups; one son, Kevin Kiffe; one brother, Edwin 
Kiffe; and two sisters, Eula Cook and Brunella Theriot.

He was Catholic.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society are preferred.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
