Ella M. Knoblock, 59, a native of Raceland and resident of Thibodaux, died at 
1:10 p.m. Monday, July 12, 2010 at her home with her two children and family by 
her side.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Christian Assembly, 1971 
W. Main St., Schriever.

She is survived by one son, Hollis Knoblock; one daughter, Brenda Halford; one 
brother, Lawrence Knoblock Jr. and wife, Terease; two sisters, Barbara Landry 
and husband, Calvin, and Peggy Sibert; her mother-in-law, Mary Hazel Malbrough; 
and many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Louis Halford; her parents, 
Lawrence J. Knoblock Sr. and Letitia Knoblock; and her father-in-law, Joseph 
Nick Malbrough.

She was a remarkable mother and woman beyond what words can express.

Special thanks to St. Joseph Hospice, Synergy Home Health, and all staff who 
participated in her care.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
