Madeline "Maddy" Rodrigue Kraemer, 63, a native and resident of Chackbay, died 
at 10:08 a.m. Friday, July 30, 2010.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Our Lady of Prompt 
Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay. Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at 
the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Gilbert J. Kraemer Sr.; one son, Gilbert J. 
Kraemer Jr. and wife, Nicole; two daughters, Sonya Ockman and husband, David, 
and Kim Talbot and husband, Ron; two brothers, Carroll Rodrigue and Adam 
Rodrigue; two sisters, Agatha "Marjorie" Bavaret and Madonna Rodrigue Martin; 
and five grandchildren, Bo Ockman, Chase Kraemer, Allie Kraemer, Madeline Talbot 
and Matthew Talbot.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Typhy Rodrigue Sr. and Agatha Legendre 
Rodrigue; three brothers, Joseph Rodrigue, Simon Rodrigue and Typhy Rodrigue 
Jr.; and one sister, Genevieve Rodrigue Borne.

She had a strong faith and a deep love of life. She often expressed her love of 
people by cooking for her many relatives and friends.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
