Shirley Henry Kreamer, 71, a native and resident of Houma, died at 8 a.m. 
Tuesday, July 27, 2010.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to funeral time 
Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at 
the funeral home, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

She is survived by one son, Kevin Michael Kreamer and wife, Juanita, of 
Gulfport, Miss.; one daughter, Sharlene A. Marcel and husband, Dean, of Houma; 
four grandchildren, Heather Sorto, Amber Hopkins, Matthew Marcel and Natalie 
Kreamer; and five great-grandchildren, Hannah Sorto, Haleigh Sorto, Emma Lee 
Sorto, Addison Sorto and Gabriel Alexander Hopkins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore "T.J." James Kreamer; and her 
parents, Ruffin Joseph Henry and Calicia Kreamer Henry.

She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. She was a 
devoted wife and mother whose strength and love were an inspiration to all who 
knew her. The Kreamer family wishes to extend a special thank you to Haydel 
Memorial Hospice, especially Renee and Debra.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
