Marie "Edna" Nelton Lisotta, 69, a native of Chauvin and resident of Gray, died 
at 7 a.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2010.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time 
Saturday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the 
funeral home, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Lisotta; one son, Maclair Tivet and wife, 
Erica; seven daughters, Jackie Crappel, Nancy Ladnier and husband, John, Lisa 
Tivet, Stacey Sampay, Wendy Potter and husband, Cody, Charlene Robichaux and 
husband, David, and Maxine Dethmann and husband, Matthew; one stepson, Ronald 
Lisotta and wife, Rhonda; three stepdaughters, Pam Blanchard, Darlene Malbrough, 
and Debbie Boudreaux and husband, Duane; 26 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; 
three brothers, Alley Nelton, Robert Nelton and Elmore Nelton; and one sister, 
Lena Thibodeaux.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin Nelton and Uzelia LeBouef 
Nelton; two brothers, Melton Nelton and Abbey Nelton; one sister, Irene Nelton; 
one granddaughter, Kimberly Marie Sampay; and one stepson, Walter J. Lisotta.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
