Martin, 73, a native of Napoleonville and resident of Raceland, died at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2010. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Falgout Funeral Home and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland. Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Madonna Rodrigue Bourgeois Martin; one son, Chris Martin and wife, Laura; one stepson, Lonnie Bourgeois and wife, Mary; one stepdaughter, Kelly Bourgeois Theriot and husband, Dwayne; one sister, Anna Mae Hidalgo; seven grandchildren, Allyson Wenning, Sophie Martin, Michael Martin, Ashley Theriot, Jordan Theriot, Justin Bourgeois and Megan Bourgeois; and one great-grandchild, Elise Wenning. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lois Theriot Martin; his parents, Ulger Martin and Elise Bergeron Martin Clements; one son, Mark Anthony Martin; and two brothers, James "J.P." Martin and Donald Martin. He was a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church and a U.S. Air Force veteran. Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ===================
