Richard B. "Ritchie" Mejia Jr., 48, a native and resident of Galliano, died at 
10:25 a.m. Friday, July 16, 2010.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. to funeral time 
Tuesday at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off. Service will be held at 2 p.m. 
Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Bruce Mejia; his mother, Anna B. Billiot and 
Hebert Billiot; two sons, Travis Bruce and Shane Bruce; two brothers, Kevin 
Billiot and Kent Billiot; three sisters, Marion G. Griffin, Tammy M. Trahan and 
Loquetta B. Legendre; and two grandchildren, Lennox Bruce and Brianna Bruce.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard B. Mejia Sr.; two brothers, 
Marty Gisclair and Jody Gisclair; and one sister, Dinah Lynn Gisclair.

In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to help with funeral expenses.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
