Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 8 to 10:30 a.m.funeral time Monday at Samart Funeral Home of Houma. Mass will be 11 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Montegut, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Melva Dupre Naquin; one son, Marty J. Naquin Sr. and wife, Linda; three daughters, Sandra Rodrigue and husband, Felton, Donna Naquin and husband, Jerry Sr., and Tammy Sevin and husband, Percy; two brothers, Anthony Naquin and wife, Joyce, and Nelson Naquin and wife, Rowlanda; seven sisters, Wilma LeBouef and husband, Andrew, Shirley Domangue and husband, Elgin, Gladys Trahan and husband, Eulan, Verley Authement and husband, Louis, Julienne Domangue and husband, Tores Jr., Nellie LeBouef, and Cecile Foret and husband, Milton; 19 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard James Sr. and Cecile LeBouef Naquin; two sons, Gillis Jr. and Kevin Sr. Naquin; one daughter, Debbie Ann Naquin; four brothers, Whitney Sr., Wilbert Sr., Carlton Sr. and Richard Jr. Naquin; one sister, Ethel Authement; and two great-grandsons, Jaelin Naquin and Blade Cole.
