Joel M. Parfait, 14, a native of Houma and resident of Montegut, died at 6:10 
p.m. Friday, July 16, 2010.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at New Beginning Church, 
194 La. 665, Point-aux-Chenes. Service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the 
church, with burial at St. Charles Cemetery in Point-aux-Chenes.

He is survived by his parents, Nathan M. Parfait and Leslie Parfait; two 
brothers, Jonathan Parfait and wife, Arielle, and Nathan A. Parfait and wife, 
Mica; two nephews, Malachi Parfait and Isaih Parfait; and one niece, Laila 
Parfait.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Julius and Bessie H. Parfait.

He was a member of New Beginning Church.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
