Emile "Neg" Adley Percle, 83, a native and resident of Chackbay, died Tuesday, 
June 29, 2010.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Our Lady of Prompt 
Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay. Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at the 
church, with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by six sons, Ray Percle and wife, Mary, Emile Percle Jr., Patrick 
Percle and wife, Deidra "Dee", Jessie Percle and wife, Denise, Ted Percle and 
Michelle, and Ferrel Percle; five daughters, Merlin Clement and husband, Benny, 
Joanne Landry and husband, Foster, Pearl Percle and husband, Joe, June Ledet and 
companion, Stanley Yancy, and Betty Loupe and husband, Peter; 13 grandchildren; 
18 great-grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; 22 step-great-grandchildren; and 
two sisters, Lorita Rodrigue and Joyce Toups.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lena Rodrigue Percle; his parents, Clay 
Percle and Rita Percle Percle; two brothers, Louis Percle and Ivy Percle; four 
sisters, Lena Percle David, Adline Percle Landry, Celina Percle Rodrigue, and 
Virgie Percle Tabor; and his son-in-law, Hubert Ledet.

He retired from Superior and Mobil Oil Co. He loved to hunt and grow a garden.
