Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2010/f1007.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Evelyn Marie Robichaux PochŽ, 62, a native and resident of Terrebonne Parish, returned home to Jesus Christ at 8:02 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2010, following a two and a half year battle with cancer. Funeral services were held July 12 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Bayou Black, with interment at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by her husband and best friend of almost 43 years, Philip PochŽ; three children, Philip "Peppy" PochŽ Jr. and wife, Laura, Angela "Angi" Charpentier and husband, Bobby, and Greg PochŽ and wife, Pamela; six grandchildren, Zachary and Meghan PochŽ, James and Emily Charpentier and Ciera and Damian PochŽ; her mother, Beulah Robichaux; one sister, Catherine Robichaux; six brothers, Allie Robichaux and wife, Melvena, Donald Robichaux and wife, Millie, Wayne Robichaux and wife, Judy, Cary Robichaux and wife, Natalie, and Jody Robichaux and wife, Regina, all of Houma, and Tommy Robichaux of Port Allen. She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd A. Robichaux; two brothers, Floyd J. and Michael Robichaux; and one nephew, Floyd J. Robichaux. Evelyn was born the fifth of ten children to Floyd A. and Beulah Robichaux. She married Philip PochŽ on July 22, 1967. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading, and vacationing with her family. She is the former owner of Body and Soul religious store and worked in the medical field for over 45 years. Most recently, she was the certified medical coder for Bayou Surgical Specialists for five wonderful doctors. She was a parishioner and Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Bayou Black. Special thanks to her medical team, Dr. Mike Watkins, Dr. Harry McGaw, Dr. Richard Abben, Dr. Gregory Maidoh, Dr. David Caletri, her wonderful nurses at TGMC CCU, her friends/doctors/employers, Dr. Fritz Rau, Dr. David Rau, Dr. Eric Rau, Dr. D. P. Schwab, Dr. Christopher Berry, her spiritual advisors, Rev. Joseph Tu Tran, Sister Miriam Mire, Rev. Danny PochŽ and Rev. Josh Rodrigue for their guidance, compassion and care.
