Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a funeral Mass at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd. in Marrero, with interment at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Gretna. Visitation at the funeral home will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at the funeral home chapel. For funeral information: 504-366-4343. She was the former wife of the late Robert Raffray; daughter of the late Adam and Ella Arceneaux; mother of Penny Sampey and husband, Perry Sumner; grandmother of Dana Sampey Rivarde and husband, Gene; great-grandmother of Blair Watts and Bailey Paige Rivarde; sister of Dorothy Fungy, Joyce Raffray, Mary Richoux and Emelda "Flossy" Bougeois; and a host of nieces and nephews. Lois was a cafeteria worker for Joshua Butler Elementary School. The family would like to express a heartfelt thanks to her caregivers and to Amedisys Hospice.
