RICHOUX, SHIRLEY

Shirley C. Richoux, 69, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Cut Off, died 
Saturday, July 24, 2010.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Our Lady of Prompt 
Succor Catholic Church. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, 
with burial in Cheramie Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Russell Richoux; her mother, Margie Prestonbach 
Cheramie; two sons, Todd Richoux and wife, Alice, and Eddie and wife, Peggy; one 
daughter, Phyllis Felarise and husband, Wesley; one brother, Zachary Cheramie; 
13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donacian Cheramie; two sons, Russell 
Richoux Jr. and Daryl Richoux Sr. and wife, Aresanna; one daughter, Jean 
Richoux; one sister, Amanda Cheramie; and one great-grandchild.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
