Robinson, 71, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Gray, died at 9:40 p.m., Tuesday, July 6, 2010. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at First Baptist Church, 1987 Highway 311 in Schriever. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by one daughter, Angell and husband, Lloyd Coleman of Houma; six sons, Jeffery and wife, Jermaine Ward of Lockport, Stanley Ward and wife, Laurie of Gray, Kenny Ward Sr. and wife, Veronica of Opelousas, Terry Robinson and wife, Samantha of Baton Rouge, Corey Robinson and wife, Carla of Lafayette, and Chris Robinson and wife, Yolanda of Lafayette; one stepson, Roosevelt "Chuck" Ward of New Orleans; 30 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one brother, Clarence "Footie" Robertson of Baton Rouge; his sisters-in-law, Victoria Robertson of Gray, Nettie Ceaser of Baton Rouge, and Lois Reynolds of San Francisco; one brother-in-law, Edmond Reynolds; his godchild, Randy "KeKe" Brown of Gray; and "good cousin" Rosetta Jackson Brown of Houma., He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Reynolds Robinson; his parents, Edward Robinson and Emily Jackson Robinson; one stepson, Everett "Al" Lee Ward; four brothers, Webster, Jimmy, Earl and Marvin Robinson; four sisters, Elodie Lawson, Norma Jean Bolden, Clara Dell Walls and Zella Landry; one grandson, Kortez Brown; and his maternal grandparents, Roland and Lily Jackson. He was a member of First Baptist Church and a retired welder. Community Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements. ===================
