Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home. Religious service will be held at noon Saturday at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church in Gibson, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by her devoted friend, Samuel Dangerfield of Gibson; two sons, Gregory I. Johnson Sr. of Morgan City and Timothy I. Johnson of Gibson; three daughters, Gwendolyn J. Ingram of Houma, Peggy J. Evans of Morgan City and Melissa Henyard August of Patterson; four brothers, Belvin Ruffin of Gibson, Gerald Ruffin of Oakland, Calif., Floyd Ruffin of Gibson, and Peter Ruffin of Patterson; one sister, Ruth Diggs of Oklahoma City; 19 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Pauline Green Ruffin; and two brothers, Rufus Ruffin Jr. and Larry Ruffin Sr. She was a member of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church. She was an usher and homemaker. Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ===================
