Edwina Brunet Schexnayder, 72, a native of Montegut and resident of Chauvin, 
died Sunday, July 11, 2010.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church in Montegut. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the 
church, with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery in Houma.

She is survived by two children, Roxanne "Roxy" Williams and husband, Tim, and 
Sherm Schexnayder; four grandchildren, Timothy Williams II, Nicole Dunn and 
husband, Derek, Danielle Schexnayder and Trey Schexnayder; four sisters, Maxine 
Venuto and husband, Chaunce, Melanie Huber, Joan Domangue and husband, Rene, 
Wanda Lou Martin and husband, Glynn; two special friends, Gerry Callahan and 
Janice Schexnayder; two great-grandchildren, Brayden Breaux and Brennan Breaux; 
and her mother-in-law, Alice Schexnayder.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marc Schexnayder Jr.; her parents, 
Eddie and Louella Guidry Brunet Sr.; her father-in-law, Marc Schexnayder Sr.; 
and one brother, Eddie "Bubba" Brunet Jr.
