Robert Lee "Pumpkin" Short, 24, a native of Gibson and resident of Terry, Miss., 
died Friday, July 2, 2010.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist 
Church. Service will be at noon Saturday at the church, with burial in the 
church cemetery.

He is survived by his parents, Diane Sulton and Jimmy Sulton; his companion, 
Shreka Matthews; two daughters, Robrielle Short and Terryanna Matthews; five 
brothers, Leon Willis, Jimmie Lomax, Brandon Theriot, Cortez Robinson and 
Kenteal Howard; and one sister, Teisha Anderson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Williams; one brother, Albert 
Short; and his grandparents, Onita Short, Wamouth Short, Joe Williams, Violet 
Jean Sulton and Leotha Robinson.

He was a member of Mt. Pilgrim and Rocky Spring Baptist Church of Spring, Miss. 
He was employed by the shipyard and Hope service.

Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
