Kristi Brunet Verrett, 38, a native and resident of Houma, died Saturday, July 
17, 2010.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to funeral time 
Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at 
the funeral home, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2 at a later 
date.

She is survived by two sons, Nicholas Michael Verrett and Nathan Pierre Verrett; 
one daughter, Nichole Michelle Verrett; her parents, Michael Anthony Brunet Sr. 
and Joan Brunet; two brothers, Michael Anthony Brunet Jr. and Corey Joseph 
Brunet; and one sister, Kaci Lauren Brunet.

She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Kristi's 
children are her heart. She loved life and was an inspiration to all.

A trust fund will be set up at Chase Bank for her children.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
