Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2010/f1007.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Anne Carol Theriot Watson, a native of Houma and resident of Elizabeth City, N.C., was born Feb. 7, 1953, and died Friday, July 16, 2010. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be held at 1:20 p.m. Friday at St. Francis Catholic Church, with burial in St. Bridget Catholic Church Cemetery. Anne will be dearly missed by her husband of almost 35 years, Wilbert J. "Bill" Watson; her mother, Corinne "Queenie" Moore Theriot; two brothers, David G. Theriot and Jerome "Joe" Theriot; one sister, Angela "Kid" Theriot Brown; 11 nieces; and six nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, James P. Theriot Sr.; and one brother, James "Jimmy" Theriot Jr. Anne was an avid quilter, and she belonged to several guilds in the Elizabeth City, N.C. area. She was a team captain for Relay for Life and was a member of the "Lucky Ladybugs" cancer survivor group. Anne was a master gardener, an avid scuba diver, a hang glider pilot and a travel agent. She was also a school teacher and a government contract consultant. Anne received her Bachelor of Science in home economics from Nicholls State University in 1975 and received her MBA in finance from Texas A&I University in Kingsville, Texas, in 1983.
