Chris "C.D." Bankston II, 20, a native and resident of Houma, died at 8:20 a.m. 
Monday, Aug. 9, 2010.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Samart Funeral Home of 
Houma. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with burial 
at Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery in Houma.

He is survived by his maternal grandparents, Robert H. and Delores Dryden Moate; 
his paternal grandparents, George "Vin" and Jo Ellen Bankston; one brother, Levi 
James Bankston; one sister, Rebekah Bankston Chase and husband, Jacob; two 
nieces, Rylee and Brooklyn; two uncles, Bob and wife, Rita Moate, and Eric V. 
Bankston; one aunt, Tina Lynn B. Williams; and four cousins, Krissi Richard and 
husband, Eddie and their children, Kirra and Karmen, Bobby Moate and wife, Lacey 
and their children, Jack and Molly, Brenner Moate and Ashli Stockton.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Pamela Moate Bankston and father, Chris 
David Bankston; and his great-grandparents, George "MCK" and Leah Fisher Moate, 
and Ted and Edia "Toot" Dryden.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
