Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in New Hope Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Jackie Trahan Billiot; one son, Shawn Michael Billiot and wife, Annie; two daughters, Tiffany Billiot Schmill and husband, Howard, and Mandy Billiot Pruitt and husband, Chad; two stepsons, Ray Zeringue and wife, Jayme, and Henry Zeringue and wife, Mindy; two stepdaughters, Shawna Hebert and husband, Sonny, and Monique Zeringue; four brothers, Melvin Billiot, Russell Billiot, Magnelta "T-Mack" Billiot Jr., and Irvin Billiot; three sisters, Thelma Griffin, Joyce Crosby and Velma Boudreaux; 11 grandchildren, Jacob Zeringue, Haley Zeringue, Alexie Zeringue, Destiny Smith, Madison Zeringue, Kellon Zeringue, Gavin Hebert, Gabrielle Hebert, Austin, Clayton Schmill and Brooklyn Schmill; 23 nieces and nephews; 15 great-nieces and great- nephews; and his former wife, Sheila Toups Billiot. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brandy Billiot; and two sisters, Frances Loupe and Lisa Detillier. He was an owner-operator in the Venture Trucking Company. He was an avid Saints fan, and his joy was to spoil his grandchildren. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ===================
