Herbert "Woodstock" Celestin Sr., 63, a native of Grand Caillou and a resident 
of Houma, died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today at Community Funeral Home. Service 
will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with burial at Celestin 
Garden of Memories in Bobtown.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Ross Celestin; two daughters, Renetta Johnson 
and Melissa Hardy; four sons, Herbert Jr., Bernard, Nicholas and Danny Celestin; 
two brothers, James and Jones Celestin; two sisters, Mable and Eve Celestin; and 
seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Josephine Williams Celestin; 
two brothers, Melkiah and Heyekiah Celestin; and three sisters, Elizabeth, 
Rosadel and Odesia Celestin.

He was a retired truck driver for Saia for 33 years.

Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
