Hannah Stevenson Chiasson, 84, a native of Litchfield, Ill., and a resident of 
Chackbay, died at 8:58 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2010.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Our Lady of Prompt 
Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay. Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at 
the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by six children, Russell Chiasson Jr., Marlow Chiasson, Nancy 
Oncale, Brian Chiasson, Noah Chiasson and Michelle Marler; one brother, William 
Stevenson; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Chiasson Sr.; her parents, 
Marlow Stevenson and Tina Grisham Stevenson; one sister, Wilma Chiasson; and one 
son-in-law, Michael Oncale Sr.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
