Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time today at Samart Funeral Home of Houma. Mass will be held at noon today at the funeral home, with burial at St. Elie Cemetery in Chauvin. He is survived by his wife, Dusty Sevin Dardar; three sons, Jason Collins and companion, Rahneka Billiot, Jonathan Parfait and wife, Mindy, and Jordy Parfait and wife, Stacey; two daughters, Ashley Parfait and companion, Tivan Bennett Sr., and Julia Dardar; six grandchildren, Destiney, Jazmine, Jakin and Ryley Parfait, and Tivan Jr. and Samiyah Bennett; six brothers, Joseph "Joe-Joe", Daniel "Danu", Paul "Terry", Gary "Jone", Donald "Timmy" and Michael "Buck" Dardar; six sisters, Relta Garcia, Sherry "Lynn" Hendon, Patty Johnson, Esther "Ta-Ta" Navarro, Sarah "Sue-Sue" Dardar and Sana Carbajal; 36 nieces and nephews; 66 great-nieces and nephews; and one great-great-niece. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilsey and Virginia Gregorie Dardar. Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements. ===================
