Walton E. Dardar Sr., 65, a native and lifelong resident of the Isle de Jean 
Charles, died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2010.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Samart Funeral Home 
of Houma. Service will be held noon Wednesday at the funeral home with burial at 
Rogers Cemetery in Houma.

He is survived by one son, Walton Dardar Jr.; four daughters, Lois Dardar Rios, 
Lisa Dardar, Ellen Dardar Koch and husband, Mitch, and Leah Dardar Savoy and 
husband, Michael; one brother, Loney Dardar Jr.; and three grandchildren, Tony 
Rios, Bianka Rios and Mihkail Savoy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Loney Dardar Sr. and Justine Dardar; 
and two sisters, Joyce Scott and Dorothy Naquin.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
