Leonce Eli "Dunie" Davis Jr., 34, a native and resident of Napoleonville, died 
Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Assumption Community Hospital in Napoleonville,

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Beautiful Zion 
Baptist Church in Napoleonville. Religious service will be held at 11 a.m. 
Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his mother, Stella Mae Lang Davis of Napoleonville; his father 
and stepmother, Leonce Sr. and Bernadette Davis of Napoleonville; four sisters, 
Reponzel Landry of Gonzales, Bolivia Davis of Napoleonville, Delta and Lisa 
Davis of New Orleans; three brothers, Eddie Landry III of Baton Rouge, Wallace 
Davis of Wallace, and Leonce Davis Jr. of New Orleans; and a host of nieces, 
nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Sally Ann Davis; one niece, LaShawn M. 
Landry; his maternal grandparents, Geneva and Raymond Lang Jr.; his paternal 
grandparents, Earline and Joseph Eli Davis; and his maternal great-grandparents, 
Vivian Sally Plant and Wallace Shepard.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville, 369-7231, is in charge of 
arrangements.
