Louis Davis Jr., 74, a native and resident of Houma, died at 4:40 p.m. Tuesday, 
Aug. 17, 2010.

There will be no service held.

He is survived by one daughter, Gail Louis Wallace Taylor, and husband, Milton; 
four grandchildren, Angel Taylor, Isaac Taylor and wife, Sleigh, Joshua and 
Abram Taylor; one nephew, Dale Smith; and one niece, Deirdre Smith; and four 
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Davis Jr.; his mother, Mable 
Maryland Davis Banks and stepfather, Johnell; two sisters, Deborah Davis Miller 
and Irma Davis Smith; and two nephews, Claude Smith Jr. and Kirk Picou.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
