Lana Theresa Detiveaux, 51, a native and resident of Houma, died at 5:55 p.m. 
Monday, Aug. 23, 2010.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Samart Funeral Home and from 9 
a.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Louis Catholic Church in Bayou Blue. Mass 
will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial at St. Ann Cemetery in 
Bourg.

She is survived by her devoted companion, Ernest Woods; her mother, Bettie Ann 
Chatagnier; one daughter, Angelique Danielle Babin and companion, Bert Riggs; 
and one sister, Ava Marie Luquette.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Detiveaux; her grandparents, 
Ernest J. Chatagnier Jr. and Roberta Margaret LeCompte Chatagnier, and George 
Detiveaux and Vias Chauvin Detiveaux.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
