Silas "Popeye" "Snoopy" Dirance Jr., 48, a native of Napoleonville and a 
resident of Houma, died Friday, Aug. 20, 2010.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Williams and Southall 
Funeral Home, 5414 Hwy 1 in Napoleonville. Service will be held at 11 a.m. 
Saturday at the funeral home conducted by Elder Ruth Green, with burial at 
Halfway Cemetery in Gray.

He is survived by four sisters, Doris and husband, Reginald Williams, Sheila, 
Linda and Betty Ann Dirance; two brothers, Joseph and Jimmy Dirance; and a host 
of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Silas Dirance Sr..

Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville 985-369-7231 is in charge of 
arrangements.
