Emily Babin Dufrene, 76, a native and a resident of Raceland, died Friday, Aug. 
13, 2010.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Mary's 
Nativity Catholic Church in Raceland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 
11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by two sons, Glenn "Stockdale" Dufrene and wife, Rhonda, and 
Craig Dufrene and wife, Gail; two daughters, Myra Savoie and husband, Chris, and 
Beth Melancon and husband, Greg; one brother, Norman Babin; one sister, Maudry 
Breaux; 15 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Dufrene; her parents, Sidney A. 
Babin and Beatrice Foret Babin; and one sister, Alice Mae Mayet.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Good Samaritan Food Bank.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
