Edville Dupre, 92, a native of Theriot and a resident of Bourg, died at 11:40 
p.m. Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Francis de Sales 
Cemetery No. 2.

He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson Dupre Sr. and Ella LaCoste 
Dupre; and eight siblings, Camille Dupre, Elvida Champagne, Elfair Dupre, Words 
Dupre, Joseph Dupre, Sylvester, Lawrence "L.J.", and Wilson "Junior" Dupre Jr.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and he was a parishioner of Holy 
Family Catholic Church.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
