Jezel Lucille Knight, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Texas, died 
Friday, Aug. 6, 2010, in LaVernia, Texas.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Samart-Mothe Funeral 
Home in Raceland. Service will be held noon Thursday at the funeral home, with 
burial at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Cemetery in Raceland.

She is survived by her fiance, Mark Pennington; two sons, Daniel Darbonne and 
Michael James Darbonne Jr.; one daughter, Selina Darbonne Eckout; three 
brothers, Alvin Dominique Jr., Herman Dominique and Dean Dominique; three 
sisters, Angela Dominique Cotton, Susan Dominique Caillouet and Tanya Dominique 
Bacon; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Helen Meche Knight.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
