Lois Buhler Labit, 87, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Houma, died 
Friday, Aug. 20, 2010.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Mothe Funeral Home, 
2100 Westbank Expressway in Harvey. Service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the 
funeral home, with burial in McDonough Cemetery in Gretna.

She is survived by one son, Roy C. Labit Jr. and wife, Kathy; one daughter, Anne 
Labit Key and husband, James; one sister, Joanne Schroeder; four grandchildren, 
Michael Labit, Timothy Labit, Kristian Key and fiance', Kaci Bourg and Justin 
Key; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Roy C. Labit Sr.; one 
brother, Harold Buhler Jr.; and her parents, Harold Buhler Sr. and Elberta Hertz 
Buhler.

She was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Church.

The family would like to thank her wonderful caregivers, Pam Babin, Jeanette 
Himel, Cynthia Hymel, Catherine LeBoeuf, Kathy LeBoeuf and the staff of Haydel 
Memorial Hospice.
