Lawrence "Pops" Martin, 60, a native of New Iberia and a resident of Houma, died 
Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Community Funeral 
Home. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with burial 
in Woodlawn Ranch Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Diana Martin; two sons, John-Te Jones and wife, 
Wykena, and Lawrence Martin Jr.; one daughter, Dana Marie Martin; three 
brothers, David Lynn Martin, Herbert P. Martin and Arther Martin; five sisters, 
Emma J. Martin Francis, Larry Ann Martin Lavine, Phyllis Martin Rice, Lois 
Martin Jones and Connie Leon; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arther and Maude Martin; and his 
grandparents, Walter and Ida Broussard

Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
